Closebourne Village Walking Group

An invitation to all residents and walkers - come along and fill the bus for a 4-5km walk as well as a shorter 1-2km walk for those with a slight disability.                                                                      

The walks are usually fairly level or slightly up hill to get our cardiovascular system working. We leave Closebourne at 9am from near the Village Pool or pickup (if requested) around the village and return about 3pm. Generally, we have lunch out at a local venue or sometimes a barbeque. Morning tea /Coffee is at a local shop or bring your own depending on location.

A bus booking sheet, together with detail of walk and lunch arrangements is usually up on the notice board 1st of the month in Morpeth House. If you pull out, please remove your name from the list, contact someone on the reserve list and place their name in the "replacement" column next to your name.
